Subject: Regarding
Medical report of successful GDS candidates allotted to Mumbai Sorting Division
in SA cadre and request for the temporary arrangement for accommodation.

Sir,
This is regarding the medical report of successful
GDS candidates allotted to Mumbai Sorting Division, Mumbai.
In this regard, it is brought to notice of your
honour that the SRM, Mumbai Sorting Division vide his No. B2/31/Rectt/GDS to
SA/2020 dated 03/07.07.2020 addressed to all divisional head and requested to
direct to all successful candidate for medical examination at Civil/Govt.
Hospitals for medical examination and directed to all GDS official to attend
along with medical report and other educational/caste certificates to carry out
pre-appointment formalities due to COVID situations. Accordingly, all candidates attended along with
the medical report from Civil /Government Hospital. But now the administration
has not ready to consider the medical report of other Civil Hospital/Govt.
Hospitals and directed them for medical Examination at GT Hospital whereas the
hospital Authority has denied for the same due to hospital is identified as
COVID centre.
It is, therefore, requested to please issue
suitable instructions to SRM, Mumbai Sorting Division to consider the medical
report issued by the Civil/Govt. Hospital as per his direction vide letter
dated 03/07.07.2020. The candidates are attended for documents verification
from all over Maharashtra and they have not even their residential
accommodation at Mumbai. It is therefore again requested to please if possible
kindly make temporary accommodation arrangement at Chinchbunder IQ or Rest
House Mumbai due to pandemic situation.
Your
honour is requested to look into the matter personally and give suitable
instructions to SRM, Mumbai Sorting Division and other divisional heads for the
same.
