 Respected Sir,

 

          This is in continuation of this union letter no. dated 16-05-2019, 07-10-2019 & 19-02-2020 on the subject cited above.

 

          In this regard, your honours kind attention is invited on DOP&T letter No. 6/1/85-Estt.(Pay-I) GOI dated 08^th June 1989 where in clarify that  para No. 3(v) of the OM dated 7-11-1989 may be read as :It is further clarified that tournaments conducted by the Central Civil Services sports Board are recognized as events of National importance for the purpose of availing benefits contained in this Departments O.M. dated 16-7-85.

 

It is sorry to say that till the date circle office has not taken any fovourable action regarding special increment in the form of personal pay to sportsman of Maharashtra Postal Circle for participation in sporting events and tournaments of National or international importance as per instructions/guidelines of 7^th CPC.

 

Now vide Dte. File No. 20-13/2020-WL&Sports dated 24-08-2020 has issued instructions regarding timebound grant of special incentives to outstanding sports persons where in instructions issued regarding Personal pay within same financial year, out turn promotions within three months and cash awards may be settled within same financial year.

 

          Your honour is  urged look into matter personally to cause settele all cases in accordance with the dte order 14-01/2013-PAP dated 14-06-2018 & 20-13/2020-WL&Sports dated 24-08-2020 as early as possible. I shall remain highly thankful to you for the same.
