Request for allow for PO& RMS examination to be held on 14-02-2021: Case of
candidates of Mumbai Sorting Division under Mumbai (MM) Region.
Respected sir,
This union is brought to notice that Circle Office
recruitment section has not allowed candidates from Mumbai Sorting Division for
PO & RMS Accountant examination due to non having vacancy for the
accountant in Mumbai Sorting Division.
Your honour is well aware that Mumbai (MM) region is
being treated as one unit for the purpose of transfer and posting of
Accountant, LSG, LSG (A/C), HSG-II & HSG-I cadre. Earlier, the candidates
from all divisions were allowed for PO & RMS Accountant examination of
vacancies in MM region with one merit list as a one unit. As the same criteria for
transfer and posting is being observed for the transfer & posting of
qualified PO & RMS accountant while posting in MM region and even though
there is vacancy in Mumbai MM region, disqualification or non permission for PO
& RMS accountant examination in respect of particular division in MM region
is injustice to the willing candidates.
In this regard, it is brought to notice of your honour
that now the DPC for the post of LSG cadre is under process with staff section
and some existing accountant from MM Region can be selected for the post of LSG
(A/Cs) and posts of Accountants remains vacant in future.
Your honour is urged look into the matter
personally cause to allow all willing candidates of MM region for PO & RMS
Accountant examination. I shall remain highly thankful to your kind honour for
the same.
