Subject : Regarding supply of Medicare Masks, Hand Gloves, Sanitizers and hand
wash liquid to all mail offices for precautions towards COVID-19 Corona virus.

Respected sir,
We are very much thankful to your kind honour for issuing
guidelines vide your above cited communications to all .
In these regard, it is brought to notice of
your honour that there is heavy shortage of Medicare Masks, Hand Gloves,
Sanitizers and Hand wash liquid in market and not readily available hence it is
requested to supply the same at all mail offices, booking counters & MMS
offices in Maharashtra Circle as welfare measure.
Your honour is well aware that corona virus (COVID-19)
spreading day by day and patients are being increased. Our staff is being
working at Airport, TMO, Mail offices like Speed Post Hubs, Parcel Hubs and
Ordinary mail offices where letters and parcels received from foreign countries
are being required to be handled by the staff and busy with transmission of
bags and mails. There are booking counters are being working at round ‘O’ clock
in various mail offices. i.e. where the direct public contact thorough out the
timing of counters. The mail received
from affected area at Foreign Post and APSO Foriegn or Airport TMO offices may
be quarantined and processed with by taking precautionary measures or banned
till few months. It is also requested to observe timely medical spraying
treatment for sterile mail offices, Booking counters & Mail Motors for
safety of workers.
You are
therefore; requested to please arrange to supply the supply of Medicare Masks,
Hand Gloves, Sanitizers and Hand wash liquid to all mail offices, booking
counters and MMS with sterile treatment
for safety of staff working in your jurisdiction as a welfare measure.
Your honour is requested to kindly do the needful. I shall remain highly
thankful to you for the same.
