This has reference to
your office memo cited above. In this regard it is to bring notice of your
honour that heavy rain falls on 29-08-2017 in Mumbai city and entire
transportation i.e. rail as well as Train was dislocated where as special leave has been sanctioned for
30-08-2017 without considering the absentee of operative staff of RMS and MMS
who remained absent on 29-08-2017 on same reason.
We thankful to your honour for sanction of
special casual leave on 30-08-2017 but it is regretfully mention that
administration has considered only administrative staff who could not attend on
30-08-2017 who stayed at office on 29-08-2017 but not considered the RMS and
MMS staff who could not attend duty on
29-08-2017 in set/2 or alternate night duty as the case may be due to heavy
rain and dislocation of trains or road transport.
It is therefore
requested to please consider the ground reality of mass absentee of operative
staff of RMS and MMS and sanction special casual leave for 29-08-2017 also for
the staff who unable to attend their duty on 29-08-2017 due to heavy rain
dislocation of transport services.
