Respected sir,
It has been reported to this union
that due to centralization of mail agency of Thane Sorting Office and newly
located Kalyan RMS causing delay of public mail as well as wastage of manpower.
A copy of letter received by email from Divisional Secretary is attached
herewith for your kind perusal.
As per para No. 4 (b) of above order
the mail agency of Thane Sorting and Kalyan RMS is centralized at newly located
Kalyan RMS and now facing problems of
manpower, rehandling of processed mail, delay of public mail and accounts bags to their post offices. There is
no need of dispatch of bags from newly located Kalyan RMS which are already
closed / processed for delivery Pos by Thane Sorting and other BPCs as it can
be dispatched through mail agency at Thane Sorting at per earlier practice.
It is therefore requested to kindly
intervene in this matter urgently and decentralize the mail agency at the Thane
Stg and newly located Kalyan RMS for smooth and speedy transmission of mail. I
shall remain highly thankful to you for doing the needful.
