grant of special increment in the form of personal pay to Central Government
Servants for participation in sporting events and tournaments of National or

This is in continuation of this union
letter no. dated 16-05-2019 and 07-10-2019 on the subject cited above.
In this regard, your nohours kind
attention is invited on DOP&T letter No. 6/1/85-Estt.(Pay-I) GOI dated 08th
June 1989 where in clarify that para No.
3(v) of the OM dated 7-11-1989 may be read as :
It is further
clarified that turnaments conducted by the Central Civil Services sports Noard
are recognized as events of National importance for the purpose of availing
benefits contained in this Departments O.M. dated 16-7-85.
It
is sorry to say that till the date circle office has not taken any fovourable
action regarding special increment in the form of personal pay to sportsman of Maharashtra Postal Circle for
participation in sporting events and tournaments of National or international
importance as per instructions/guidelines of 7th CPC.
Your
honour is requested to please look into the matter and give suitable
instructions for grant of special increment in the form of personal pay for
participation in sporting events and tournaments of National or international
importance in Maharashtra Circle to motivate the sports persons in our circle
in accordance with the directorate order No. 14-01/2013-PAP dated 14-06-2018.
