This has reference to directorate
memo/communication displayed on departmental web site on the subject cited
above.

In this
regard your honour is requested to please circulate above order/clarification
to all Divisional heads for implementation of orders in true spirit, Where in
it is clearly mentioned in para no. 2 that “the first increment in
the level applicable to the post which promotion in made shall accure on the
following 1st July or 1st January as the case may be
provided a period of six months qualifying service is strictly fulfilled.” Also
there is other cases are discussed in para no. 3, 4, 5 & 6 may also be
considered.
As
per para 7 DOP&T has also been approved that the employees have been
regularly promoted or granted financial up gradation for pay fixation under FR
22 (1) (a)(1) shall be given an opportunity to exercise or re exercise of the
option them under.
Your
honour is requested to look into the matter personally so as to avoid loss of
pay towards wrong fixation of pay of innocent staff working under your
jurisdiction. I shall remain highly thankful to you for the same.
